You might be wondering just how to avoid this allergen because as soon as you get over the tree pollen in spring, there will be grass pollen in summer, and ragweed pollen in fall. Allergies to pollen can be treated by using medication, immunotherapy, or by avoiding the allergens. Medication is available in both prescription and over-the-counter varities. The most common prescription drugs are antihistamines. The topical antihistamines are more popular and also more effective, because they can be put directly on the affected area, to provide fast relief of symptoms.<br><br>

1/4 cup chopped white onion
1/4 cup each chopped carrots and celery
1 tbs butter
1 cup cooked chicken breast, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 cans low sodium chicken broth, divided
1/3 cup orzo pasta
pepper, thyme, marjoram, sage (and any other spices you like!) to taste
